The Master of Information Technology course provides students with the option of studying one of three majors.

Mobile Application Development Major

Students studying full time will undertake their first elective unit in Year 1 Term 2.

Students undertaking an internship will enrol in the unit "Postgraduate ICT Internship" instead of the capstone unit COIT20272 Mobile App Development Project . Internship Opportunity

Students in the Master of Information Technology are able to apply for an internship.

To qualify for the internship, students need to undertake and have completed the core unit COIT20249 Professional Skills in Information Communication Technology. This unit will prepare you for working with the internship host. Specific prerequisites for the internship are the same as for your discipline capstone project.

To qualify for an internship students must be in good academic standing, successfully pass the CQUniversity English Language Placement test and complete an interview with the internship host.

For more information please attend the information session given by Australian Internships in the fourth week of term.

Please note you may undertake the internship in place of doing your discipline capstone unit.
