Previous Student Feedback

Feedback, Recommendations and Responses

Every unit is reviewed for enhancement each year. At the most recent review, the following staff and student feedback items were identified and recommendations were made.

Feedback from Student Communication

Feedback

This unit is well designed, as all content is delivered prior to residential school and then there is no content to cover during placement.

Recommendation

It is recommended that the design of this unit be continued as it's important students have all necessary content prior to attending their residential school. it is also important that students be able to focus on their professional placement, without having to worry about additional workload.

Feedback from Student Communication

Feedback

The format of the lectures (pre-recorded and delivered in a series of short videos each week) assisted student learning

Recommendation

It is recommend that the format of the lectures remain the same as students feel this approach helps them to maintain their concentration, find and review concepts more efficiently and to engage with the materials in shorter periods of time.

Feedback from Personal Communication - Director of Allied Health, Rockhampton Hospital

Feedback

The quality of the ALLH students attending professional placements is of a high standard

Recommendation

It is recommended that this unit continue to be reviewed to ensure quality of content and quality of assessment tasks, as well as quality of teaching to ensure that we continue to produce high quality students.
