Previous Student Feedback

Feedback, Recommendations and Responses

Every unit is reviewed for enhancement each year. At the most recent review, the following staff and student feedback items were identified and recommendations were made.

Feedback from SUTE Unit Comments Report- T3- 2023

Feedback

Students found that the lecturer is a knowledgeable and industry practitioner. They appreciated his easy to understand teaching style and the commitment to answer students' questions at the earliest.

Recommendation

Engagement of same lecturer is recommended for next/ future deliveries. If he is unavailable, it is recommended for the new lecturer to adopt same teaching strategies he applied.

Feedback from Built Environment Team Grade Assessment Review Meeting Notes

Feedback

The unit is regularly receiving higher percentage of HDs and Ds. Please check whether this is genuinely due to the intellectual knowledge of the cohort or inconsistency of assessment tasks which requires challenging questions and firm marking rubric application.

Recommendation

It is recommended to revisit marking rubrics and marking criteria, as well as introduce challenging assessment questions referring to new industry practices and regulatory changes.
