This unit provides an advanced exploration of web application architecture, focusing on integrating agentic systems and multi-agent orchestration into the modern development lifecycle. You will move beyond basic Generative AI (GenAI) assistance to design and deploy sophisticated, autonomous applications in web environments.

Pre-requisites or Co-requisites
Prerequisites: COIT20245 Introduction to Programming, COIT20248 Information Systems Analysis & Design.
Important note: Students enrolled in a subsequent unit who failed their pre-requisite unit, should drop the subsequent unit before the census date or within 10 working days of Fail grade notification. Students who do not drop the unit in this timeframe cannot later drop the unit without academic and financial liability. Attendance Requirements
All on-campus students are expected to attend scheduled classes - in some units, these classes are identified as a mandatory (pass/fail) component and attendance is compulsory. International students, on a student visa, must maintain a full time study load and meet both attendance and academic progress requirements in each study period (satisfactory attendance for International students is defined as maintaining at least an 80% attendance record).

Feedback from Student feedback
The unit could improve by introducing web design basics, such as HTML and CSS, alongside heuristics from the start, rather than focusing on theory for several weeks before practical lessons.
Based on student feedback, the tutorials should be restructured to introduce introductory HTML and CSS practical lessons alongside design heuristics in Weeks 1 and 2. This will ensure early hands-on engagement and a better balance between theoretical foundations and technical skills from the start of the term.
