Previous Student Feedback

Feedback, Recommendations and Responses

Every unit is reviewed for enhancement each year. At the most recent review, the following staff and student feedback items were identified and recommendations were made.

Feedback from Have Your Say Unit Evaluation Survey

Students enjoyed the broad range of assessment pieces which ensured that skills were assessed in different ways.

It is recommended that a variety of assessment types continue to be offered, ensuring align with the learning outcomes and the applied nature of the unit.

Feedback from Informal feedback from students and staff reflection

Students enjoyed the hands-on aspect of the laboratory component; however, the face-to-face laboratories should be held earlier in term to concise with lecture material as well as assessment items.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the face-to-face laboratory component of the unit was held after the exam period of Term 2. It is intended that this laboratory component be offered earlier in Term 2 to align with lecture content and assessment items.
