The unit also introduces you to the responsible and transparent use of generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) for research and writing as part of contemporary academic practice, developing your ability to exercise judgement about when, how and whether such tools are appropriate. The unit content focuses on the development of research skills, synthesis of evidence, academic writing skills, and the construction of coherent arguments.
