Overview

In this unit, students will be introduced to fundamental digital video and audio skills and knowledge. By engaging with activities that integrate practical skills and conceptual understanding, students will be able to produce digital audio and video content for a range of contexts appropriate to the digital content industries.

There are no requisites for this unit.

Attendance Requirements

All on-campus students are expected to attend scheduled classes - in some units, these classes are identified as a mandatory (pass/fail) component and attendance is compulsory. International students, on a student visa, must maintain a full time study load and meet both attendance and academic progress requirements in each study period (satisfactory attendance for International students is defined as maintaining at least an 80% attendance record).

Feedback

Weekly quizzes that required typing an answer were sometimes too picky about how the answer needed to be typed. Though these quizzes are additional learning activities and not assessed, it can be demoralizing for questions answered correctly to be marked incorrect.

Recommendation

Review quiz question response options to ensure answer parameters are appropriate.
