Previous Student Feedback

Feedback, Recommendations and Responses

Every unit is reviewed for enhancement each year. At the most recent review, the following staff and student feedback items were identified and recommendations were made.

Feedback from Student Evaluation - Have Your Say

Feedback

More information about podiatric surgical procedures performed by a Podiatric Surgeon should be included in the lectures to give students further understanding in this area.

Recommendation

As the lecture content is guided by the learning outcomes of the unit, the lecture content focuses mainly on podiatric procedures performed by a podiatrist. It is recommended that additional information about procedures performed by a podiatric surgeon could be provided to students as additional further reading in Moodle. This information will not be examinable.

Feedback from Student Evaluation - Have Your Say

Feedback

It was useful to have a 'real' patient attend the CQUniversity Health Clinic for the professional practice placement. This gave students an opportunity to further develop their clinical skills and engage in authentic learning.

Recommendation

It is recommended that the unit coordinator continues to build on the existing processes of planning, developing and delivery of the unit to continue to achieve positive student satisfaction and outcome.
