Feedback, Recommendations and Responses
Every unit is reviewed for enhancement each year. At the most recent review, the following staff and student feedback items were identified and recommendations were made.
Feedback from Have Your Say Student Survey
Students reported that the content provided on lecture slides provided them with enough information and examples that they could engage in revision throughout the unit.
Lecture slides are updated each year the unit is offered but it is recommended that staff continue to provide clear content and examples to assist student learning.
Feedback from Have Your Say Student Survey
Students reported that the requirement to complete both a systematic review and an honours project to meet research requirements of their course seemed greater than requirements in other health disciplines.
A course update proposal was submitted and endorsed by the Education Committee to reduce the overall research requirements in the Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Honours) course. It is recommended that this unit be terminated since a new research unit will be included in the course in its place.
