Elective

Number of units: 8 Total credit points: 48

8 Elective Units or a Second Major

Students have the choice to undertake either 8 elective units or a second major.

Those students undertaking elective units may select their units from any 6 unit of credit undergraduate units offered by CQUniversity. A maximum of 12 Level 1 units may be credited towards the Bachelor of Business.

Those students undertaking a second major must select their units from the majors as detailed for the Bachelor of Business course. Please note that no more than 12 level one units can be studied as part of this course. If the double major combination you wish to undertake consists of more than 12 level one units, please contact your Course Advisor prior to enrolling. Please nominate both majors on your CQUCentral record and both names will appear on your official testamur.

Work Integrated Learning

Students wishing to undertake Work Integrated Learning as part of their course of study are encouraged to undertake BUSN19024 and BUSN12001 as electives in their course of study. By undertaking this suite of units, students will secure and undertake an approved full-time work placement of appropriately 12 weeks duration.
