Core Structure

The Bachelor of Emergency Service is open to students who have successfully completed a relevant emergency service qualification. Students may be admitted on the basis of either a Diploma or an Advanced Diploma qualification and appropriate credit will be applied to the student record accordingly. Students who are admitted on the basis of a:

  • Diploma qualification must complete all compulsory units, this consists of the 10 compulsory units listed below (5 from block one and 5 from block two) and 2 minors from the 3 options available for this course.
  • Advanced Diploma qualification must complete the 5 compulsory units from block two listed below and 1 minor from the 3 options available for this course.
