CL12 - Diploma of Financial Planning

Overview

Course Overview

This course provides you with a general introduction to the basic theory and practice of Financial Planning. The course includes contact with the Financial Planning industry and practical experience in solving elementary Financial Planning problems. The course articulates into the Bachelor of Property degree with a major in Financial Planning to provide a complete bachelor level qualification covering the full educational requirements for practice as a Financial Planner or Property Economist.

Career Information

A variety of junior positions within the Financial Planning industry exist for graduates with the diploma. These include assistant roles in financial planning and estate planning. Progression to senior roles in Financial Planning requires additional study to gain a Bachelor of Property (Financial Planning) or equivalent.

Number of Units Required CQUniversity uses the concept of credits to express the amount of study required for a particular course and individual units. The number of units varies between courses.
