The Graduate Certificate in Healthy Ageing will provide you with the opportunity to obtain a qualification in healthy ageing that will enable you to venture into the rapidly growing market for health services that provide quality care to the ageing population. These courses will focus on healthy ageing concepts such as preventable diseases, health promotion and active ageing to ensure that you graduate with the knowledge and skills to apply a holistic approach to the care of your clients/community.
The Graduate Certificate in Healthy Ageing would benefit those currently working in the health care, welfare sector or other area addressing the needs of the ageing population who wish to obtain a contemporary qualification to assist in their insight and knowledge to meet the needs of the ageing population. Skills and knowledge obtained through this course are relevant and transferable specifically for those who find themselves dealing with members of the ageing population. This could include (but not limited to) council planning positions, education providers, administration workers, tourism workers, health care or welfare workers.
