COMM12025 - Organisational Communication

General Information

Unit Synopsis

Communication is an integral part of any organisation. It is especially important for managers or those individuals who may be working within a communications department. This course will introduce students to the structure of organisations and develop an understanding of the different types of communication processes used. Students will conduct a communication audit as a means of applying communication theory to organisational policy and practice. Issues and crisis management skills are also important to prevent organisations from making critical communication errors.
