This clinical unit will provide opportunities to apply and integrate theoretical and practical knowledge in the clinical environment. The practical focus in this unit includes the completion of skills in cardiac assessment related to cardiac catheter lab monitoring. You will learn to analyse cardiac data and solve problems. Behavioural aspects of professional practice are emphasised and you are expected to reflect on your own performance and exhibit the highest level of safe patient care. Critical appraisal of performance will enable you to develop professional and technical skills in a work setting under qualified supervision.
