Attendance Requirements

All on-campus students are expected to attend scheduled classes – in some units, these classes are identified as a mandatory (pass/fail) component and attendance is compulsory. International students, on a student visa, must maintain a full time study load and meet both attendance and academic progress requirements in each study period (satisfactory attendance for International students is defined as maintaining at least an 80% attendance record).

Staff impact
Recommendation
The unit should continue to be delivered in a conservatoire style model of teaching, with 1-to-1 instruction, delivered by specialist staff. This style of teaching leads to exceptional opportunities for mentoring students as they complete their studies and prepare to embark on their future careers.
Action Taken
Lessons continue to be delivered 1-to-1 in a conservatoire style.

Collaboration between students
Recommendation
As this unit is an individual study of an instrument or voice, and not an ensemble unit, the collaboration between students is not a necessity. However, for the benefit of all students, recommendations will follow to enable online collaboration for students, should they wish to pursue this further.
Action Taken
Nil.
