SAFE20021 - Safety Science Thesis 2

General Information

Unit Synopsis

This unit is the second of two in the Safety Science Thesis suite of units. Throughout this unit students learn about the process of research including conducting research, exploring a safety science topic in depth through an extensive literature review and presenting research findings to a wider audience. Assessment is based around the completion of a research project which was commenced in Safety Science Thesis 1. Students will also be able to engage with their peer researchers as they progress on their research journey. Assessment items are tailored to ensure the proposed research from Thesis 1 is conducted (after Ethics approval) and that students complete their research by writing up their findings and presenting their findings to a wider audience through appropriate means such as presenting conference papers, journal papers or other negotiated outcomes.
