Entry Requirements

There is no minimum age required to undertake this course, however the minimum age to obtain a Gaming Employee Licence, which is required to work with gaming machines, is 18 years old.

Resource Requirements

Whilst on-campus, students must wear closed in shoes. Strictly no thongs or open sandals permitted. Students should also bring pen and paper to the class.

What licences could I apply for?

Prospective gaming employees are recommended to apply for a Gaming Employee Licence through the Queensland Office of Gaming Regulation. This application is to be completed and submitted by persons wishing to obtain a licence to perform gaming duties in a club or hotel. This licence will enable people to cover the scope of most gaming duties in clubs and hotels. Information about the licence will be covered by your trainer (although completion of this course is not a prerequisite to obtain the licence).
