This qualification reflects the role of individuals who apply project management skills and knowledge. They may manage projects in a variety of contexts, across a number of industry sectors. They have project leadership and management roles and are responsible for achieving project objectives. They possess a sound theoretical knowledge base and use a range of specialised, technical and managerial competencies to initiate, plan, execute and evaluate their own work and/or the work of others.
VET Student Loans may be available for eligible students in approved Diploma level qualifications. The loan can be used towards Tuition Fees only and does not cover additional expenses such as textbooks, uniforms, equipment, travel, tools, and accommodation or general living expenses. Loan limits or caps may apply for some eligible courses and where a loan limit is reached for a course, students may be required to pay upfront for any remaining units.

Recommended: 18 yrs of age, English proficiency of an IELTS equivalent of 5.5 with no band less than 5.0, Completion of a Cert IV or Year 12 Equivalent.
Possible job outcomes include: Project manager, Project Coordinator, Project Administrator, Events manager, events coordinator, events administrator, scheduler, planner, procurement, Stakeholder liaison, Change manager. These possible outcomes can be applied across various industries
This program is delivered on-line. Duration of study for each unit undertaken on-line is 20 weeks, however as it is competency based, it may be possible for learners to complete their training sooner if they have reached the required skill level.
This program is also delivered on-campus fulltime with a duration of 12 months, requiring a minimum participation of 21 hrs per week from Tuesday to Thursday.
On-campus students enroll in all 12 units.

Additional Resources and Textbooks
Students must have a computer with internet access in order to study online and participate in online tutorials. Students will also require a basic headset and microphone,with optional webcam for online tutorials.
The follow textbooks are required for all core units:
BSBPMG521 - Manage Project Integration requires students to initiate, plan, execute, control and close a project. Project size, type and complexity will be confirmed when initiating a project.
The project management course is an on-line program. Requires internet access, word processing skills for report writing and excel spreadsheet skills to develop tables, charts.
