PDC59242 - Building your Personal and Professional Profile

Course Details

Course Summary

Developing a personal and professional profile is more than just a resume for an employer. The profile is a collection of your knowledge, skillsets, attributes, and transferrable skills that comprise your personalised marketing strategy to potential recruiters.

This micro-credential provides a guide to custom building your profile to capture all the qualities you need to present to a potential employer. The micro-credential includes examples of various professional profiles from a school leaver to a postgraduate job seeker and provides easy to use templates to construct the profile using a step by step approach. Professional social networking platforms are described with LinkedIn, Facebook, PartnerUp and VisualCV as popular examples.

This is offered as both an online program (6 hours) and can be adapted to any audience for a face to face workshop style offer. Practical examples and templates are used for students to develop their profile ready for publication.

This online micro-credential provides a non-creditable micro-credential and digital badge which can be shared to your social networks and displayed in your professional portfolio.

Organisations wishing to undertake this training in a face to face workshop should contact CPD directly.
