Previous Student Feedback

Feedback, Recommendations and Responses

Every unit is reviewed for enhancement each year. At the most recent review, the following staff and student feedback items were identified and recommendations were made.

Feedback from Verbal and written feedback

Feedback

Some students requested that the practical task 'Videotaped psychoeducation session and reflection' be amended to remove the 'reflection' component of the assessment. Given the time and amount of work required to prepare for and record this video recording, the removal of the 'reflection' would allow the full assessment marks (25%) to be allocated to the video recording task.

Recommendation

Remove the 'critique' component of Task 2 (Video Recording of Psychoeducation Session and Critique).

Feedback from Written and verbal feedback

Feedback

Students like the optional (non compulsory) readings and articles provided.

Recommendation

Continue to provide extra 'optional' reading for students who want more in depth information on unit material

Feedback from Written and verbal feedback.

Feedback

Some students requested a review of the wording of some sections of the written assignment (case report) assessment information guidelines to improve clarity.

Recommendation

Review the assessment information guidelines of the 'case report' to improve clarity.
