General Information

Overview

Professional Practice in Psychology II builds on Research and Professional Practice (PSYC20056) to further develop your practical skills. These professional competencies are required by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC) in preparation for the Internship Program to gain General Registration in Psychology with the Psychology Board of Australia. This includes the culturally-sensitive, evidence-based practice of psychology, both autonomously and as a member of a multidisciplinary team. During your practicum, you will continue to develop your knowledge and skills in therapeutic processes, and formulate and share case conceptualisations and intervention plans.
