To qualify for the award of a Diploma of Science, you must complete five (5) compulsory units offered in the first year of the Bachelor of Science course (CU18) as listed below.

Students must complete the following compulsory units:
BIOL11102	Life Science Laboratory
CHEM11043	Atoms, Molecules and Matter
CHEM11044	Chemical Reactions
ENVR11014	Environmental Monitoring
SCIE11023	Scientific Research Fundamentals

In addition to the above core units, you must complete three (3) units from your major and/or minors. Please refer to the Course Structure tab of the course handbook for further information about majors and minors.
