Core Structure

Number of units: 9 Total credit points: 54

Regardless of the entry pathway all students must study nine core units.

Students who enter via the Diploma pathway are required to complete a further three compulsory units as indicated below.

  1. MRKT19030 Marketing Communications
  2. MRKT19036 Marketing of Service Products
  3. MRKT19038 Marketing Research and Analytics.

Diploma pathway students must then choose four other electives from the list optional units provided.

Advanced Diploma must choose three electives from the list of optional units provided.

Students can only study one online elective unit per term of study.

Students enter this course via an Advanced Diploma or a Diploma pathway. Students who enter via the Advanced Diploma pathway may receive up to 12 units of credit (72 credit points) and must complete a further 12 units of study. Students who enter via the Diploma pathway may receive up to eight units of credit (48 credit points) and must complete a further 16 units of study.

Students who enter via the Diploma pathway are required to complete a further three compulsory units and then choose four electives from a list of electives.

All compulsory units are available on campus in face-to-face teaching mode.

Three marketing units within the eight elective units are available on campus in face-to-face teaching mode.

The remaining five elective units are only available online.  

Students can only study one online elective unit per term of study.
