Core Structure

Number of units: 20 Total credit points: 120

For the purposes of accreditation and admission students must complete the LLB course over the equivalent period of three or more calendar years. A standard full-time course load is 8 units per year. It is possible to accelerate completion of the law degree by studying more than 8 units per calendar year. Hence a student may study 10 units in each of their first two years and four units in term 1 of their third year. Students can commence Graduate Diploma of Legal Practce at an external provider having completed all of their core units, but with two electives outstanding.
