Feedback, Recommendations and Responses

Every unit is reviewed for enhancement each year. At the most recent review, the following staff and student feedback items were identified and recommendations were made.

Source: Student feedback and coordinator observations
Feedback
One-on-one mentoring sessions provide students the opportunity to explore specific areas of interest within the different specialisation streams.
Recommendation
Continue promoting the individualised nature of the unit by building mentoring capacity in the various specialisation streams.
Action Taken
Unfortunately due to COVID-19 and the university restructuring many of the postgraduate supervisors in the Transport and Safety Science team have left the university and students have had to be re-allocated supervisors. This is the last time this unit will be taught as the Safety Science Masters courses have been cancelled from future university offerings.
