In the world of Project Management, projects are first and foremost seen as investments of time and resources in order to achieve a specific goal. This goal may be financial, social, environmental, or a combination of any of these. As with all investments, stakeholders require some degree of certainty about the outcome through the completion of a project feasibility study.

This micro-credential explores the creation and use of a project feasibility study to justify a new project and, if approved, inform the proposed project plan. A feasibility study is essential to becoming aware of any potential problems, issues or obstacles that may occur when implementing a project. A feasibility study enables the initial, ongoing, and final assessment of the viability of a project.

This micro-credential is recommended before undertaking the series in project management. 

This is a non-creditable micro-credential which is awarded a digital badge and Certificate of Completion which can be shared on social networks and displayed in your professional portfolio. A digital badge is an indicator of accomplishment or skill that can be displayed, accessed, and verified online.

Undertaking this micro-credential enables students to meet their Continuing Professional Development obligations and industry update requirements in their profession.
