This accredited short course includes the unit TAELLN411 - Address adult language, literacy and numeracy skills.

TAELLN411 describes the skills and knowledge a vocational trainer or assessor requires to identify language, literacy and numeracy (LLN) skill requirements of training and the work environment, and to use resources and strategies that meet the needs of the learner group. The unit applies to individuals who teach, train, assess and develop resources.

Entry Requirements

This accredited short course is for students who have completed the course, TAE40110 - Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and who need to complete the unit TAELLN411.

Any new students enrolling into TAE40110, will not need to complete this accredited short course as the unit TAELLN411 is included in their course.

Summary

Distance students require strong self motivation and must have 4-6 hours per week available for study for each unit. This course is self paced so students must have sound literacy and numeracy skills. This course is delivered by distance education so students must have access to a computer and the internet and have sound computer skills.
