Upon successful completion of this accredited short course, students will receive a Statement of Attainment for the unit, CPCCWHS1001 - Prepare to work safely in the construction industry.
Completion of the program meets the generic health and safety requirements to be employed on a construction site for construction type work or a prescribed activity. It is suitable for construction workers, employers, self-employed people involved in structural steel erection, carpentry, bricklaying, concreting, plumbing, electrical, painting, refurbishing, shopfitting, repairs, plastering, floor and wall tiling, roof tiling and the installation of floor coverings, for example.
