Course Summary

This course is for those who wish to receive a Refrigerant Handling License (RHL) to carry out work in relation to Refrigeration and air conditioning (RAC) equipment with fluorocarbon refrigerant or a component of RAC equipment that carries the risk of refrigerant being emitted.

Students must hold the relevant trade qualification before enrolling in this course, enabling you to complete the gap training to receive the RHL.

For your application to be considered, you must meet the following entry requirements.

Entry Requirements

A Refrigerant and Air Conditioning (RAC) Trainee License must be applied for to undertake this course. ARCtick will require proof of your enrolment to apply, please refer to arctic.org for further information. 

For this program, being offered by CQUniversity, you must have successfully obtained any of the following Automotive Heavy or Light Trade Qualification's and provide a copy of your Qualification and Academic Transcript listing the units of competency achieved.

Due to previous experience the full nominal hours will not be required.
