This qualification is suited to those working as administrators and project officers. In this role, individuals use well-developed skills and a broad knowledge base to apply solutions to a defined range of unpredictable problems and analyse information from a variety of sources. They may provide leadership and guidance to others with some limited responsibility for the output of others. You will learn a range of skills, including how to develop work priorities, organise meetings, maintain work health and safety, co-ordinate basic resources and use complex word processing and spreadsheet skills. This qualification reflects the role of individuals who use well-developed skills and a broad knowledge base in a wide variety of contexts. They apply solutions to a defined range of unpredictable problems, and analyse and evaluate information from a variety of sources. They may provide leadership and guidance to others with some limited responsibility for the output of others.
There are no entry requirements, however, it is advised that students enrolling into this course should be able to carry out and evaluate own work and/or the work of a team, use technology to create business documents such as correspondence, plans and reports using sound literacy/numeracy skills.
