This qualification is for people who want to work in a senior administrative role or who wish to gain credit for further study at university. It reflects the role of individuals with substantial experience in a range of settings and who are seeking to further develop their skills across a wide range of business functions. This course will develop sound managerial level business skills. You will learn how to effectively manage meetings, plan and manage conferences, manage payroll and manage your personal work portfolio and professional development needs. You will be able to learn a diverse range of new skills or build an existing knowledge to become more effective at work or achieve your career goals.
This course is currently in transition and being replaced by BSB50120 Diploma of Business.
Students CURRENTLY ENROLLED in BSB50215 will need to complete by March 2022, with the last enrolment in January 2022. Students are encouraged to discuss their personal study plan with the teacher.
All NEW STUDENTS will need to enrol in BSB50120 Diploma of Business.
VET Student Loans may be available for eligible students in approved Diploma level qualifications. The loan can be used towards Tuition Fees only and does not cover additional expenses such as textbooks, uniforms, equipment, travel, tools, and accommodation or general living expenses. Loan limits or caps may apply for some eligible courses and where a loan limit is reached for a course, students may be required to pay upfront for any remaining units.

Credit Transfer into CQU Bachelor of Business
CQU will only recognise Diploma students where the full-time Diploma course duration is one year or greater.
ALL CQU TAFE (BSB50215) students may undertake the Bachelor of Business and may choose any single specialisation.
Students with a completed CQU TAFE (BSB50215) will receive 1 year credit and will enter directly into 2nd year of the CQU Bachelor of Business.
