This qualification reflects the role of individuals working in a variety of roles within the human resources sector who have a sound theoretical knowledge base in human resources management and demonstrate a range of managerial skills to ensure that human resources functions are effectively conducted in an organisation or business area. Typically they would have responsibility for the work of other staff.
VET Student Loans may be available for eligible students in approved Diploma level qualifications. The loan can be used towards Tuition Fees only and does not cover additional expenses such as textbooks, uniforms, equipment, travel, tools, and accommodation or general living expenses. Loan limits or caps may apply for some eligible courses and where a loan limit is reached for a course, students may be required to pay upfront for any remaining units.

Credit Transfer into CQU Bachelor of Business
CQU will only recognise Diploma students where the full-time Diploma course duration is one year or greater.
ALL CQU TAFE (BSB50618) students may undertake the Bachelor of Business and may choose any single specialisation.
Students with a completed CQU TAFE (BSB50618) will receive 1 year credit and will enter directly into 2nd year of the CQU Bachelor of Business.
