This qualification is designed for individuals who require significant foundation skills support to access a vocational learning pathway. It is suitable for individuals who require:
◾ a prevocational pathway to employment and vocational training.
◾ reading, writing, numeracy, oral communication and learning skills at Australian Core Skills Framework (ACSF) Level 1.
◾ entry level digital technology and employability skills.
No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this qualification at the time of publication.
Students are required to undertake a pre-training assessment BKSB to determine that the learner’s skill level is working at or below ACSF level 1 for the core skill/s related to the unit/s. There are no other entry requirements for this qualification.

Graduates from this qualification may continue with FSK10213 Certificate I in Skills for Vocational Pathways or enrol into other vocational qualifications at either Certificate I or Certificate II level.
Completed students would be holistically prepared for employment at a basic level and if already employed will be supported in their application of their literacy, numeracy and computing skills.
