This qualification provides the skills and knowledge for an individual to administer and manage information and communications technology (ICT) support in small-to-medium enterprises (SMEs) using a wide range of general ICT technologies. Persons working at this level provide a broader rather than specialised ICT support function, applying a wide range of higher level technical skills in ICT areas such as networking, IT support, database development, programming and web development.
There are no entry requirements for this course.
VET Student Loans may be available for eligible students in approved Diploma level qualifications. The loan can be used towards Tuition Fees only and does not cover additional expenses such as textbooks, uniforms, equipment, travel, tools, and accommodation or general living expenses. Loan limits or caps may apply for some eligible courses and where a loan limit is reached for a course, students may be required to pay upfront for any remaining units.

Student Study Load
This course requires a considerable commitment to complete.
Full-time study: 30+ hours per week of study is required to complete this course on a full-time basis over 12 months.
Part-time study: Completing the course over 2 years (Part Time) will require 10-15 hours of study per week.
Additional Resources and Textbooks
A number of units require the use of a Textbook. Some of these textbooks can be expensive if purchased new. It MAY be possible to borrow some from a library or find them second-hand. Electronic versions, if available are also a cheaper means of obtaining these books.
