This program provides the skills and knowledge required for engineering fabrication students in the areas of light/ heavy fabrication and welding.
Completion of the BKSB (Basic Key Skills Builder) online literacy and numeracy assessment prior to enrolment, unless the student has completed an equal or higher level course.
This course is for apprenticeship training only. Students must be employed as apprentices in a relevant industry.

This qualification is designed to provide an industry recognised skills profile related to trade work as an Engineering Fabrication Trade (Heavy) or Engineering Fabrication Trade (Light- Sheetmetal) dependent on the electives chosen.
