Course Summary
This is a non-accredited short course where students gain skills and knowledge required to be a Responsible Manager of licensed venues as stated under the Liquor Act 1992.
Students will learn about their responsibilities to ensure harm is reduced to each patron and the local community. Not only does this short course provide details of the law and liquor license requirements, it also includes a range of management strategies required to operate a licensed venue.Students will learn and develop skills in concepts such as harm minimisation, compliance, duty of care, best practice, risk management, sale or supply of alcohol and drink safe initiatives.

Entry Requirements
All students are required to hold current certification in RSA OR a current OLGR-issued responsible management of licensed venues (RMLV) licensees' course certificate
An RMLV certificate expires 3 years after the date of issue.
Student Outcomes, Career Opportunities and Occupations
- Students will receive a Result of Assessment within 21 days of completion of each unit/module or within 21 days of the ‘close of study’ date.
- Students who successfully complete all required units/modules will receive their qualification and an Academic Statement itemising all units/modules successfully completed.
- Following receipt of written advice from the student (or teacher) that the student does not intend to complete the full course, the student will be issued with a Statement of Attainment listing all units/modules successfully completed.
On completion of this short course, students will be issued with a Queensland Liquor Licensing completion certificate.
