This non-accredited short course covers the advanced skills and knowledge needed to prepare and serve espresso coffee, including: assessing coffee extractions, factors that affect the extraction rate, setting and adjusting the grinder, advanced milk texturising, the coffee industry, including coffee cultivation, processing, roasting and blending. The fee for this short course will be $105.00.

Students should complete the Basic Barista short course first.
1. Students will receive a Result of Assessment within 21 days of completion of each unit/module or within 21 days of the ‘close of study’ date.
2. Students who successfully complete all required units/modules will receive their qualification and an Academic Statement itemising all units/modules successfully completed.
3. Following receipt of written advice from the student (or teacher) that the student does not intend to complete the full course, the student will be issued with a Statement of Attainment listing all units/modules successfully completed.
Enhances your prospects as a café attendant or coffee shop employee or simply enjoy learning new skills. A Statement of Attendance will be issued on completion of this non-accredited short course.
