Course Summary

This is a course in a series of six (6) 'Renovation Series'. The course will cover how to install different types of wall linings (gyprock and villa board); how to plaster joints and patch holes; how to cut and fix cornice in place. Students may choose to do one or more in the Renovation Series. The fee for this short course will be $150.00.

Entry Requirements

Prior to commencing this unit, you will be required to complete the mandatory unit in this series - NACC00063 Renovation Series - How to use basic power tools.

Student Outcomes, Career Opportunities and Occupations

  1. Students will receive a Result of Assessment within 21 days of completion of each unit/module or within 21 days of the ‘close of study’ date.
  2. Students who successfully complete all required units/modules will receive their qualification and an Academic Statement itemising all units/modules successfully completed.
  3. Following receipt of written advice from the student (or teacher) that the student does not intend to complete the full course, the student will be issued with a Statement of Attainment listing all units/modules successfully completed.

Upon completion of this course students will receive a Statement of Attendance for unit NU0065 - Install and Finish Plasterboard.
