This micro-credential comes out of the Next-Gen AgTeachers: upskilling teachers in AgFoodFibre for the 21st century project, aimed to improve primary and secondary teacher knowledge of modern agriculture and the digital capability required for work in agriculture. This series of five micro-credentials is relevant to primary and secondary school teachers who are currently teaching agriculture or teaching agriculture out of field (assigned a subject for which they do not have the required subject matter knowledge or formal qualifications in). In the "Tracking the AgFoodFibre Supply Chain for Secondary Teachers" micro-credential, you will develop knowledge and skills to integrate technology in the agricultural supply chain operations to demonstrate innovative approaches to improve agricultural productivity and efficiencies.
This online micro-credential provides a non-creditable micro-credential and digital badge which can be shared to your social networks and displayed in your professional portfolio.

What is a Digital Badge?
Participants must be a teacher, teacher aid, farm assistant/manager, career advisor or studying to become a teacher.
Our micro-credentials are available for anyone to access. You do not have to be a CQUniversity student.

Upskilling teachers' skill sets in agriculture will improve their future employment opportunities with high demand for specialist teachers, particularly in regional and remote Queensland communities. Additionally, teachers will have a greater awareness and understanding of modern agriculture, including current technological advancements in the sector.
Upon successful completion of the course, students will be awarded Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours, a non-creditable micro-credential (Digital Badge) and a Certificate of Completion.
