Course Summary

The Certificate in Cross Sector Partnering is a 20 hour course for candidates who have successfully completed the full suite Partnering Essentials™ Course either face to face, online or a blended version. Evidence of this prerequisite is required before students can complete the course.

Candidates who have attended face to face or blended programs are required to provide details of the Partnering Essentials™ Course they have attended, including date and location.

This certificate aims to deepen your understanding of how cross-sector partnering can be used to develop innovative solutions to social, environmental and economic challenges.

The Certificate will cover four main areas:

  1. Reviewing and consolidating the Partnering Essentials™ Course material
  2. Exploring the partnering landscape in more detail
  3. Analysing the key success factors for effective cross-sector partnering in more depth, and
  4. Assessing how to overcome challenges in the partnering process.

The fee for this short course will be $475.00.

Entry Requirements

Students enrolling in this course must have completed a minimum of 2 days content from the Partnering Essentials™ program which is currently only conducted face to face with DIXON Partnering Solutions.   • Want to partner with others and don't know where to start
  • Are looking to increase the value of their partnerships

  • Are not sure how to stop a partnership and move on
  • Want to partner faster with less cost and reduced risk.

Undertaking this course enables students to meet their Continuing Professional Development obligations and industry update requirements in their profession. Upon successful completion of the course, students will be awarded 20 Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours and a co-branded CQUniversity and Dixon Partnering Solutions Certificate of Completion.

  • Mixed Mode courses are delivered online and require compulsory attendance of site-specific learning activities such as on-campus residential schools and/or workshops.
  • Online courses are delivered using online resources only.
  • On-campus courses are delivered using a combination of face-to-face and video conferencing style teaching at CQUniversity campuses.

  2. Expand your knowledge of how cross-sector partnering is being utilised around the world to tackle complex problems and issues across many sectors and industry areas.
  3. Increase your knowledge of how to partner successfully and overcome common challenges.
  4. Apply this knowledge and the various frameworks and models discussed in your own work.
  5. Demonstrate insight into the way these frameworks, tools and strategies can be used to resolve partnering problems.
