This online Short Course explores healthy sexuality in children from 0-9 years and behaviours that are typical and age appropriate.
The social and cultural context of the sexuality of minority youth including Indigenous Australians, LGBTIQ youth, those from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, children with mental or physical disabilities and children in care are also extensively considered, as it is vital to examine differing understandings and experiences of sexuality in these contexts. Risk and protective factors that are specific to these minority groups will also be considered.
