Course Summary

This online Short Course will introduce both new and prospective students to the context of university learning and will help you become effective lifelong learners. Different perspectives on learning are examined in the context of University study. By developing an understanding of the principles and techniques of effective learning at University, you can apply this to be a successful self-regulated learner who manages your learning environment and learning tasks. You are expected to engage actively with the learning resources for this course. This resource-based learning approach allows you to progress at your own pace. There are reading materials and engagement activities. This is a student-centred approach that requires you to make use of the online space and learning tools specifically designed to meet course outcomes. We estimate that this should take you approximately 3 hours to complete.
