This online Short Course outlines the role of fitness specialist in the rehabilitation process when dealing with clients with medical conditions or injured clients utilising a team approach. The course outlines the process for developing networks with professional health providers such as physiotherapists, osteopaths, chiropractors and General Practitioners in the referral process for clients, gaining client consent and providing medicolegal reports in the Australian context.

Undertaking this course enables students to meet their Continuing Professional Development obligations and industry update requirements in their profession. Upon successful completion of the course, students will be awarded 4 Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours and a CQUniversity Certificate of Completion.
If you are a Registered Exercise Professional with Fitness Australia as a Group Exercise/Gym Instructor or greater, you will also be eligible to attain Fitness Australia CECs on the successful completion of this course.
