This online Short Course provides an overview of the Australian National Health Priority Areas as outlined by the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare. The course will highlight the diseases and conditions that contribute significantly to the burden of illness, and discuss the strategies by government to manage the financial and social impact of chronic health in the community.

This online Short Course provides a non-creditable micro-credential and digital badge which can be shared to your social networks and displayed in your professional portfolio.

The fee for this short course will be $25.

This course provides Professional Development for health and/or fitness professionals.

Undertaking this course enables students to meet their Continuing Professional Development obligations and industry update requirements in their profession. Upon successful completion of the course, students will be awarded Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours, a non-creditable micro-credential (Digital Badge) and a Certificate of Completion.

If you are a Registered Exercise Professional with Fitness Australia as a Group Exercise/Gym Instructor or greater, you will also be eligible to attain 1 Fitness Australia CEC on the successful completion of this course.

This is a Fitness Australia Accredited micro-credential. To gain your CEC’s you will be required to upload your certificate into your CEC diary on your Fitness Australia account and select your approved course for Fitness Australia to verify.
