This online Short Course introduces concepts that will assist you to develop an understanding of the nursing care of people with mental health problems or conditions. The course is broad in its content. It explores historical aspects of mental health, symptomatology and diagnosis, relationship building and a look at you - the 'person' in the nurse. It also covers the Recovery Model and the important perspectives from consumers or service users which will assist you in your understanding of mental health care delivery.
