Course Summary

This online Short Course forms part of the Partnering Essentials™ partnering skills program designed by DIXON Partnering Solutions. You can enrol in this course individually or in combination with other short courses to form part of the Partnering Essentials™ Course.

The focus of each course is on a specific topic related to cross sector partnering. The Partnering Essentials™ Course (10 courses) is equivalent to the 2-day face-to-face program delivered by DIXON Partnering Solutions and on successful completion will enable the candidate to proceed to undertake the Certificate in Cross Sector Partnering.

This course, The Sustaining Stage of Partnering, explores the sustaining stage of cross-sector partnering in greater detail along with the necessary tools and checklists to ensure that your partnering delivers and results in the impacts you are seeking. You will also gain an understanding of the importance of review and evaluation in the partnering process and how to respond to key challenges in this sustaining stage.

The fee for this short course will be $90.00.

  1. Identify the key activities of the sustaining stage of a cross sector partnering process: review, renew or conclude
  2. Describe the importance of revisiting foundations from the creating stage to support when things become challenging including purpose, process, and agreements
  3. Outline the importance of evaluation and review and the differentiation between the two
  4. Identify how to respond to key challenges in this stage including introducing new people to the partnership, maintaining momentum and staying on track.
