Version Effective: 20th of February, 2019

Course Details

Course Summary

Gender is moving from the rigid definitive of the male or female to a continuum. Changes to our traditional view of gender can be confronting and difficult to understand. Trying to correctly navigate the “new” terminology around LTGBQI persons leave many in fear of “getting it wrong.”

This online Short Course will include a list of acronyms, terms and identify how to correctly use pronouns so that people other than heterosexual, gender-normed, may also feel equally included. Also included are exercise considerations for those who are in transition and a list of where both you and your clients can go for further help and support. Case studies will be given to model empathetic initial consultations.

The fee for this short course will be $75.00.
