Course Summary

The brain is the physiological dimension where memory and learning functions occur. Participants are introduced to neurobiology and, broadly, to what is known about the physiological interactions and inter-dependencies within the brain and between the brain and the other parts of the nervous system. The main parts and functions of the nervous system are introduced, including the Central Nervous System and the Peripheral Nervous System. This online Short Course also provides overviews of the known functions of the neuron and the synapse, neural pathways, cortical regions, neurotransmitters and the limbic system.

The fee for this short course will be $396.00.
