This online Short Course has been designed to complement the work delivered by the Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority (QCAA) to focus on developing teacher confidence, capability and expertise in the key concepts and topics covered in the Business syllabus. It offers subject-specific knowledge and skills needed to underpin effective and contemporary approaches to teaching and learning in the subject.
This course introduces the final phase of the Business life-cycle. Participants will learn about the post-maturity stage and the strategic role of change management by examining how exposition of a clear and achievable vision helps in the management of resistance to change. The participant will also explore issues of corporate social responsibility and how this impacts the success of a business.
The fee for this short course will be $100.00.
There are no specific entry requirements to enrol in this short course, however, it is designed for Secondary School teachers who expect to teach the QCAA Business General Senior Syllabus.
